Our After-School Exercise Programs are geared towards elementary age children. These programs, free to all participants, provide a structured exercise program held after the school day. Activities are geared towards strengthening the body's core while improviing stamina, muscles and above all, showing kids that exercise is FUN. The program includes a diversified lineup of activities that are simple in nature, but provide outstanding results. Our After-School Exercise Programs are intended to be a stepping stone for parents, teachers and coaches who plan to faciliate exercise programs on the elementary campuses.

The Positive Energy Tour is a series of participation events that are organized by the
A Change of Pace Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profi t organization striving to provide
and fund opportunities for the members of our community to exercise. By increasing
the number of athletic events that are made available for kids, we, in turn, increase
the number of opportunities for kids to participate. Through creative events that are
unique, challenging, and achievable, we work within the local and regional school districts
to encourage physical fi tness and involvement. The recent success of our current
Positive Energy events have proven that kids are willing to participate if the events
remain enticing, fun, and most importantly non-competitive. By removing the pressures
of winning, kids seem quite content to simply participate for the fun of the sport. Our
philosophy is simple: if you allow a kid to participate without any expectations, they
tend to participate at their own pace and enjoy the event completely.

- Address the current health issues and epidemics that face a high percentage of our children
today (i.e. Obesity & Type II Diabetes)
- Educate parents about the importance and roles that exercise, physical fi tness & nutrition
play in their child’s life
- Explain how unhealthy today’s kids are compared to 10 or 20 years ago
- Create and promote events (including special events or school events) to make exercising
fun and positive
- Our target market is youth who are at-risk for poor health and fitness, specifi cally those with
with limited resources.

The Positive Energy Tour is a multi-faceted program that seeks to implement exercise in the
daily routines of our local youth. Our programs will target on kids that are or may be at risk for
obesity, and Type II diabetes. The Positive Energy Tour currently has the base network to reach
out to the general population; encourage and promote exercise and a healthy lifestyle; and
educate both the parents and kids with limited resources. The program also teaches the importance
of good health through nutrition. Just like exercise, nutrition will also play a critical role in
their future.
